Race: Teracian (The Teracian's lost their homeworld and nearly their entire race during their attempted siege of the Gerzan empire. They soon found themselves far outmatched. the Gerzan empire is comprised of brutes and barbarians, fearing their honor would be tainted they wiped out every Teracian they could lay eyes on. The few that survived, mainly nobles, important government officials and the few other with access to ships and insider information into the oncoming attack, withdrew and call for sanctuary. Earth harbored them, and since Earth had not harmed them, the Garzacions had enough reserve to leave the few alive.)
Occupation: Son of Noble
Appearance: Similar to the anatomy of a human aside from their black skin with strips of red spiraling around the entirety of their body creating various patterns. They also do not have hair atop their heads but in its place they have rows of spikes slanted backwards with tips and edges sharpened. Traditionally clothes are not worn by Teracians but to better fit in with earth culture they have taken up with behavior. Liryk prefers to wear colors that match his countenance, thus black and red along with a bit of dark blue to match his translucent eyes. he prefers to wear as little as possible while still passing earth standards for he does not want it to interfere with is swordplay. Often he ill be found wearing a tight black leather tunic and dark red knee length leggings. He also sports a silver pendant from which hangs an X shaped symbol tilted slightly with two of its legs longer and bent slightly. He prefers not to wear shoes.
Background: Liryk's people are very noble and respected people. Their invasion of the Gerzan empire was completely uncharacteristic of this nation. They have never invested in nor researched and for of firearm or explosive for they believe them to be uncivilized and unsportsmanlike for battle. Thus their people are uncanny with all forms of blades and sabers. to prove they are superior on the battle field that have equipped their blades and often times their forearms with implants that create a field of vibrations to be able to reflect if not absorb laser blast and can be extended to encompass a 5 foot area around the user, but will then need to recharge for several days.
The race itself though short lived mature fast and stay in their prim for nearly their entire lives, which equals about 35-45 human years. The race was run quite like medieval times with kings running the people, yet it is as a communistic society in witch everyone does a profession or professions witch they enjoy and are good at then share what they make with everyone in the area. They have no form of currency.
Liryk himself grew up a nobles son and thus was not required to find a profession. he felt this to be unfair and thus enrolled payed to be tutored by the finest war marshal on their world. This marshal eventually betrayed his people and gave vital information to the Gerzan which they were almost force to go and retrieve. His master gave him fair warning before they attacked he in turn attempted to tell and save as many as he could. once upon earth he was gripped with depression. He drowns his sorrows in underground duels and death matches to make a living for himself.
