In the massive Human capital, Gabon, an annual tournament is always held in the middle of the sixth month. The champions are the recipients of great amounts of gold, and of great opportunity for adventure!
I'm currently running a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with this story, but I won't force you to roll dice and stats for your characters. I will play NPCs where necessary to guide the characters through the story, but here's the real twist:
I'll be using dice to randomly roll who will be making each other's characters, which means you'll be playing a character that you didn't design. Probably.
I'll need to see who all wants to join before I can randomly roll who gets who, so just post here if you want to join.

Alright. I'll be playing an NPC in the party as well as a real character.
Keep in mind while making characters for each other that it would be best to have one rogue-ish individual, at least one warrior/fighter, a cleric or priest, and another magic user of sorts. I'm not forcing anyone to do so, but it would make a good party.
I rolled for everyone, and here are the results.
Twilight will be making Krystic's character. Krystic will be making Blossom's character. Blossom will be making my character. I will be making Twilight's character.
Ready, Go!

Oh yeah, the NPC will be a cleric, so the other four can be any combination of the other groups. Maybe an archer would be okay as well, or a monk..

Name: Quentin Searswind
Occupation: Sorceror
Sorceror Rank: Master level, but strong enough to move up to Adept over time (levels are Apprentice, Journeyman, Master, Adept, as far as I know)
Four Basic Elemental Spells:
Breath of the Devil -- blast of hot wind mingled with fire
Ice Blade -- "blades" of water that solidify very quickly around or inside of the opponent; if used carefully, will also work to water plants, etc.
Earth's Blessing -- Healing spell, a major one. It uses energy from around you, but be very careful. If used improperly, it can suck the life out of people, animals, plants, etc. Gradual healing is best.
Trade Winds -- Can act as a weapon, but mostly is used as swift transportation. Ride the air to your desitination.
+ any other spells you care to think up...
Appearance: Of medium height and very thin, but not bony. Long black hair swept back into a long braid and black eyes that have been bleached to a steely blue-gray with the strength of his magic. His face is lean, weathered to a leathery brown, yet strikingly attractive.
Clothing: Elaborate black linen robes scrolled and embroidered with red silk and gold wire. Sturdy black boots inset with more red silk embroidery. The designs are a mix of fire, air, the pheonix, and a falcon.
Also black wool robes with black-on-black embroidery for more everyday use.
Background: Quentin has been studying to be a sorcerer from the young age of 10, when he accidentally blew up his family's chickencoop in anger. He'd been left to do the chores again by his older brother, who was off with a neighbor girl that Quentin liked. His parents, frightened of his uncontrolled and untrained power, and having five other mouths to feed, quckly found a traveling sorcerer to apprentice him to and got him off their hands. Quentin's new master was gruff and cold, but took good care of him and taught him very well. He eventually left Quentin to furthur his training in one of the few magic schools out-country, and Quentin learned better control, politicing, and to speak another language. He was fairly popular with the girls, partly because of his accent and partly because of his power and looks. Having completed the school's courses of magic and training to the level of Master, all that remained to Quentin was to go travelling and to increase his control and make up his own spells in a quest to gain in power and reach Adept level. He has been travelling for one year now, and is fairly experienced at journeying. He is slowly making his way toward the capital, Gabon.
Right then, that's done, I'll fill in the rest later... First day of school, so crazy!

So, D&D Classes? In that case, the person I'm making one for has a Druid.

No, not necessarily D&D classes, but they are allowed. You have to create a background, name, etc. and they have to roleplay it. That's part of the fun!

Okaaay ... how's this for Kage's character?
Name: Fillion Arlend Gender: Male Age: 28
Occupation: Soldier Rank: Second Lieutenant
Appearance: Standing a little over six feet tall, well built with a broad physique, Fillion makes an impressive figure. He has pale blond hair that is cut short at the back but with a longish fringe, and almond-shaped, dark blue eyes. He is a handsome young man, with a fine-boned face and aquiline feature, but bears a scar down his right cheek. He rarely smiles, but when he does his face shows surprising warmth.
Clothing: Fillion wears the red-and-gold livery of the Gabon army, with dark leather riding boots and metal gauntlets. His longsword hangs in its scabbard at his hip, but he also carries daggers in his boot and at his belt. On formal occasions he wears the half-cape that denotes his rank, but mostly his rank is told by the purple-ribboned medal he was presented with at his promotion.
Background: Fillion’s father is a famed General within the Gabon army, and when Fillion was of age (18) he, naturally, enlisted. However, many of the lower ranks in the army are made up of scoundrels – drunkards who take pleasure in picking fights, whoring around and general reckless behaviour.
For the first few years of his career, Fillion fell in with that crowd – one drunken fight being the reason for his scar. His life changed, however, when he was twenty four. When returning from a mission, he came across a young woman being attacked by a group of bandits. Fillion saved the girl, but rather than being grateful she ran from him in fear. Fillion realised that he and his comrades behaved no better than the brigands. He decided then that the army needed to be reformed; it should exist to protect people, not frighten them.
Since then Fillion has become an upright, moral young man; he hasn’t touched a drop of alcohol, set foot in a brothel, or been goaded into a stupid fight since. He is now a champion of noble causes, and works hard to covert his fellow soldiers to his way of thinking. Some have, some haven’t. However, Fillion’s reformation brought him to the attention of the higher-ranking officials, and he was promoted to Second Lieutenant when he was twenty six.

Awesome, sounds like a great character. I'm still working on Twilight's character, but it looks like I've still got some time anyway.

Yeah, I changed my username. Kage'll get it. I'm still around, I don't check here as often enough but this is a cool idea and I'll be getting on it.
