Tolkien is classic. I don't mind Paolini ... the writing is exquisitely bad but it's still a fun read ... ;D Woot for Austin too.
Rather enjoying Trudi Canavan, Kate Elliot and Jaclyn Moriarty too.

Um...well, she's not a favorite author of mine unless it's a book of her's with Hercule Poirot. The others aren't so bad...but... *shrugs*
